QTP Setup error Windows 7

QTP, a software testing tool installation or setup encountered an error on windows 7 operating system and as a result stated with an error message,
No background bmp defined in section 'General' entry 'BGBmp'
No Application name defined in section 'General' entry 'AppText'.

Error: hr=0x80020003 - member not found.

These above error reports are generated while i am inspecting microsoft active accessibility (MSAA) objects. I am using a tool windows sdk having an option to 'inspect objects'.  We can gather more details about the error, by using sdk in UIAutomation mode.

MSAA, Microsoft Active Accessibility is an application programming interface for user interface accessibility. This api is mainly used with assistive technology(i.e technology for people with disabilities) to support UI elements of that application. MSAA is also used in automated testing tools and computer based training applications.

MSAA is an COM based api which defines a mechanism for application and operating system to communicate. MSAA communicates assistive products by sending information about element of program to the assistive object. MSAA is also available as add-on for the supported browsers including mozilla and internet explorer. It can be used by testing automated software like QTP and silk test as well.

Lets we see the causes of each error, the error 0x80020003 member not found describes ole automation error. This will happens if you are calling IDispatch:Invoke() with wFlags set only to DISPATCH_METHOD and the dispid which identifies the property. This problem mostly occurs if you prefer microsoft visual c++ to generate class wrappers from the mcrosoft office 95 type libraries. For this you need to modify the .cpp file for any InvokeHelper() call retrieving a property to use DISPATCH_PROPERTGET flag. Other reason might be using wrong IDispatch pointer and dispid.

windows sdk installation failed for windows xp and .net framework 4

Windows SDK (Software development kit) enables developer to create application and other essential IT supported features like windows troubleshooting platform (WTP) that can run on microsoft windows operating systems of different versions like windows 7/xp/vista etc.
To install windows sdk the system should need to have .net framework previously installed.Lets see what are error reports received while the windows sdk installation takes place on windows xp/ 7 operating systems.

wave in error invalid device handle

While i try to capture my desktop screen through the free version of screen recorder software,i got an error message which is stated as 'wave in error'.The error message includes 'the specified device handle is invalid in stop()'.Below is the image proof for that wave in error.Solution here i recommend is to update the software or check the system settings recording the camera connected to the system.

Platform used : windows 7.This error may also happen in camstudio.

chrome failed to initialize properly

When i opened the chrome browser i obtained an error as,
'CHROME-APPLICATION ERROR : "An application failed to initialize properly (stop code -0xc0000005).Click ok to terminate the application program".
Here i found the browser as useless after getting the error, even i cant able to get the page displaying over the browser.

How to fix 'can't load GetDXver.dll' Error

Source of the error :
I obtained the error  'can't load GetDXver.dll' while i try to run the cyberlink youcam software.Here I found that the software was successfully installed but it gets failed to open .

Causes :
Such errors are common if user have committed any mistakes while installing software package by missing any important components.It also happen while installing newer version over the older one if it is not properly uninstalled.

Solution :
